After giving out candy for 4 hours, I started seeing the same kids, over and over again. At first I wasn't sure because apparently Miley Cyrus was the first successful cloned human being and all 3987829734 of them came to my door. But after a kid asked "that's all I get?!", and came back for a second, and third try, I was pretty sure that I was being TRICKED, despite my best efforts to be a TREAT.
These kids are taught to be greedy, to manipulate the system to get what they want. Plus all those cavities and calories. A fattening AND immoral holiday. Horrid. Also, threatening to pull someones undergarments down...what kind of threat is that?

I always give out ketchup packets to the second comers, as well as the "I dressed as a slutty [insert costume here]!"
:( I'm sorry it was such a bummer for you! You have to admit though ... little kids dressing up IS cute. :)
Maybe that's why I refuse to give out candy for Halloween...even though I try to teach my children politeness and humility, the majority of trick-or-treaters seem to have the sense of entitlement that Americans are so famous for. I would say we should just "turn the other cheek," but putting up with crap from ungrateful kids hardly falls into the category of grace for me!
