Today I get to listen to the serenades of a jackhammer as the plumbers do work on the kitchen floor and the surrounding tile. Not exactly Mozart. I'm getting impatient because they've been working on said kitchen for 2 weeks already. How am I supposed to be a domestic goddess if I'm robbed of my haven?
To clear my head - fun facts:
1. I eat french fries with vanilla ice cream. For those of you who cringe over this, it's like eating chocolate covered pretzels - the sweet and the salty meet, for a fantastic dance in your mouth!
2. Plethora is my favorite word. Cornucopia is a close second, but it's only good for this time of year.
3. When I meet God, the first thing I want to know is why He made dinosaurs. and then I want to know why He got rid of them, and kept ants and cockroaches. There are 1 million ants for every person in the world. Ridiculous.
4. I really wish I had a British accent.
5. I love middle names more than I do first or last names.
6. I don't sleep with a pillow, but always need a blanket over me, no matter what the weather.
7. Stewardesses is the longest word typed only with the left hand.

My favorite word for the last 15 years has been dichotomy. I first heard it in a song by Bad Religion and I still use it all the time!

It's not weird at all, it's amazingly delicious.
french fries should NOT be eaten with vanilla ice cream. Vanilla frosties from Wendy's however, is another story.
