I’ve come to realize lately that the things I do – what I study, where I work, who I know – those things are not the canvas that make up the tapestry of my life. They are mere decorations, blotches of paint and patches of fabric that cover up the imperfections underneath. The layers (like an onion, like an ogre) are deep and soon everything blends together.
My 27 units have subsided, allowing me more free time than I am accustomed to. This forces me to address my slight identity crisis that has continuously been put on the back burner.
This summer, is mine to have. It is mine to rediscover myself – to find passions, to cultivate relationships, to abandon all trivial cares and to ask questions of myself that were never before a priority.
- I have fallen more in love with words.
- I am interning at Biola’s Career and Development center.
- I am writing a book with Nikol Virginia Schiller.
- I am taking a well deserved vacation.
- I am doing free lance work with an event planning agency.
Life is good.

Good for you Carizza<33 I hope your summer is full of everything YOU want = D
I, too, have an identity crisis I need to address...I kept thinking it would go away as I got older, but to no avail. :)
