Temporarily Out of Order

So my VAIO has decided to crash, though thankfully I was able to get through finals safely. I should be up and online in the next week or so.

Being without the internet is kind of crazy, but also kind of nice. It's made me realize how much more I get done if I don't have access to Bones or Life online. I've cleaned my kitchen, mopped the floors, and wrapped all of my Christmas presents. On the down side, my washing machine broke down, so dirty laundry is multiplying in a disgusting amount. I'm not converting to this amish way of life, but I'm just saying, it's a nice reminder.

Currently I'm in beautiful Santa Barbara, visiting friends at the Mont. It was a 2 hour drive in the rain, with super low visibility, but I made it safely. It's finals week, so it's dead quiet on campus, but it's nice to be back. The heart will always bleed maroon.

Isn't that funny how all these things that are supposed to simplify our lives just end up complicating them more! I'm not going Amish anytime soon, either, but I could sure use a media fast -- I spend way too much time online! I'm glad you could get some stuff done.
