The Day I Forgot It Was April Fools

Being on spring break, I was super duper excited because that meant that I would finally have time to cook and bake. On Tuesday I made wonderful Honey Dijon Salmon, which I know sounds weird, but was actually amazing. So amazing in fact, that I forgot to take a picture, I was so excited.

Later that night I decided to make cookies. Wonderful, from scratch, complete with secret ingredient chocolate chip cookies. 3 dozen cookies were set out on a display plate, topped with a cute homemade Army pride sign, and then I realized: It was April Fools Day tomorrow...

I hate April Fools, with a passion. You can't take anything seriously. But cookies, are serious business.
