I interviewed for this new Asian Fusion restaurant that is opening Downtown. I got the job (yay), but it requires me to take out my nose piercing (boo). I sat myself down and decided that I was very thankful that they wanted me on board for the opening of this fantastic place. Also, I'd have to take out my piercing eventually, especially for teaching or interpreting, so it's a good a time as any. I'm still having separation anxiety...

Things are looking pretty positive that I'll be accepted to go to Biola University in the fall, but I'm still struggling with the FAFSA. I've already submitted it, so I met the deadline, but it keeps wanting more information from me. "You just want everything, don't you?!" I'm not really willing to take out 32k of loans a year...so as they say, never surrender!
No matter what the price, the best things, are always worth it.

I don't think you'd have to take out the nose piercing to teach. We have a couple of teachers with nose piercings here, and this is the Bible Belt. You wouldn't want to wear it to the interview...
